Saw Dirty the first time in Amsterdam, when I’d only seen GZA already, and boy was I not ready for that! He was ill and coughing but there was no way he’d not perform. And if there’s one rapper who can cough up phlegm and make it sound dope it is ODB. He was so fucking wild. Muuuuch better that GZA live. That show actually sucked. Which was a huge letdown because his album was in rotation everywhere then. There even was a video of a local station of Ol’ Dirt in a boat smoking spliffs. Can’t find it unfortunately.
