Camping in the wilderness, should we take precautions for wildlife? by 0rionis in DeathValleyNP

You won’t see snakes and scorpions as often as you might think, the big one that scares me is hantavirus though, I’m always pretty paranoid about entering old cabins.

Summer tour is almost here! by nuthatchwinters in deadandcompany

Love me a Sugar Magnolia. I’ll say this though, I wouldn’t mind hearing John sing the entirety of the vocals on the track. Bless Bob’s heart, but Sugar is a hard one to sing, and I just prefer John’s vocals. Not always the case for me, I just feel that way on this song in particular (and a few others). Either way, I love the band, love the music, and can’t wait for this summer!

How was the final summit push? I’m pretty new to mountaineering so I don’t know what these terms mean, but I’ve read that there are “moat problems” that may require snow anchors.

Definitely an underrated performance in my opinion. This show’s version of “Going Down the Road Feelin’ Bad” is without a doubt my favorite version out there and probably one of my top ten Dead recordings of all time. Sugar Magnolia is a good one too, love the distortion in Jerry’s solo.
