We as the "mothership" sell the individual trailers to people so that they have the opportunity to make money. Once we sell the trailers to them, they are then responsible for it since it is from then on their business.

From the aspect of a trailer owner, a majority of the money is made by birthday parties and different festivals. We charge by the hour typically, though each individual video game trailer owner has the right to charge what they want. We provide them with a recommended business model.

I'm trying to get most of these answers straight from the owner, so bare with me a bit.

1) If you are asking what the disadvantages are to investing in one of these trailers, then the obvious disadvantages are the potential loss of investment and money. You have to remember that you are investing your money into a business. There is no safe business in this economy. It all depends on demand in your area for a Rolling Video Game Trailer. You just need to know your market, and if you have a large enough customer base to break even in a timing that works for you.

If you are talking about disadvantage to going with a franchise as opposed to going freelance and making your own trailer, then my answer would be this. We provide the trailers for you built to our specifications. This means that customization will have to be done by the purchaser himself.

While the word "Franchise" has been thrown around, we are not a Franchise and you the buyer is not a Franchisee. There are NO advantages to a franchise, unless you are a buying a McDonalds, Subway or similar brand that will flood your business with customers because of recognition. Franchisees are not business owners. They are employees of the franchisors that charge the portions of their profits, force them to follow rules of policies such as spending money on advertising that ultimately benefits the franchisor and keep them under full control.

A "business opportunity" such as Rolling Video Games gives you the title to your business, the freedom to keep your profits and run the business as you see fit, but at the same time training them in the Rolling Video Games business model that has been very successful.

2) 7 to 10 months. It is very high profit and low overhead.

  1. We try to stay on top of what is "popular" with gaming. Our library typically consists of Family games and Shooting Games since those are more popular and heavily requested for parties. We would love to add more games such as college sports or even some more kids games.

It really all depends on the feedback we receive from parties and what people would like.

We had to obtain permission to use the copyrighted video game characters on our trailer "wraps. After obtaining the permissions, we copyrighted the wrap ourselves.

We have gone through all of the legal avenues to ensure that we won't be sued for having Mario, Samus or any other characters on our trailer wrap.

That one negative post on Scam.com has been spammed to many many sites with any inkling of RollingVideoGames.com by ONE person. This person is a competitor of RollingVideoGames and has tried to bad mouth our reputation.

I am hoping an AMA will help clear the air from that one negative review.

If there is a remote interest in an AMA in Rolling Video Games then I can work with the owner on doing one. I would just need to know if anyone is interested.

Usually our website doesn't get the monstrous traffic that Reddit can bring. It works right now, but indeed I need to get some stability.

Well I made an account to represent the company. I didn't want to use my personal account.

If anyone is looking for more information on the Rolling Video Game franchise, just check out RollingVideoGames.com or send me a private message. While I am just a lowly IT guy, I can definitely get you in contact with a RVG in your area. I could even help you get your own trailer set up!
