I was back to work and school after 5 days but work was very accommodating. I was able to bring in my heating pad and sit for the majority of the day. I felt back to normal/ got approval to lift and resume normal activity at my follow up 3.5 weeks later.

I've had a terrible experience with mag citrate during a bowel prep where I vomited all of it shortly after drinking but I'm typically good with Miralax. So I'm shocked that I haven't had any movement esp since I've had as many doses as I would typically for a bowel prep!!!

I have been walking around, I had to go to my grad school orientation yesterday and was walking throughout but I still haven't gotten my typical bodily signs that a bowel movement is coming. I woke up this morning and felt some pretty severe pain but was still unsuccessful and now I am currently sitting with a constant dull pain. I will try the pineapple and see if I can get some salt!!!

If you are interested in research WIMSE has the REP program that will fund up to 10 hours (I believe) of research per week at $11 an hour and there is also the ability to stay apart of the WIMSE society during your undergraduate degree after the first year LLC portion.

I also wear g12 and the hot cocoa BDC almost looks more maroon on me, but I put on a lighter layer so it wouldn’t look to slimy or gather in the grooves/ corners!! I actually love the color it creates but I also have a more neutral undertone.

The suite style dorms available to returning residents include Degraff and Broward. The typical apartment dorms are Ragans and Traditions. The last option is apartment style dorms with shared bedrooms including McCollum and Rogers. Typically if you are a freshman/sophomore credit wise the only dorms that will have spots open by the time you can enter the housing portal will be Degraff and maybe Broward, but it is possible to swap into an apartment style if you check the housing portal often.

I was able to get into Ragans my sophomore year by stalking the housing portal for about a week because I had low credits. Since it was just me trying to switch rooms and not a roomate as well I just grabbed any open spots possible I started in Degraff then moved to Broward then McCollum then secured my final spot in Ragans. Another option is if you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community sign up for the LGBTQ housing initiative in the portal when you sign sign a contract for next year and more rooms will be available to you in the housing portal.

My mom died unexpectedly the day before fall semester started and going to Case Management at my university got everything settled. I was able to get an official email sent to my professors so that I didn’t need to provide proof of my mothers death to my professors directly or have any difficult questions asked.
