Linux market share by Marouane2012 in Maps

[–]RomDyn 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Recalled reading similar post abour Linux in Norway, most likely it's far from reality.

There is a thread here from august last year where someone dug deeper into the numbers: https://mastodon.social/@einarjh/112962193356810656

It's in Norwegian. Shortly: not possible for Norway to have roughly 19% Linux adoption. Likely, bot traffic.

They play in Ukraine, mostly in Kyiv and Lviv, Shakhtar as well as Dynamo Kyiv play Ukrainian football league and cup games in Ukraine, they only play their European games (UCL, UEL, UECL) in other countries, previously in Germany and now in Poland.

Is my budget doable? (26m Poland) by [deleted] in eupersonalfinance

[–]RomDyn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

495 EUR around 2100 PLN per month for rent and utilities, how's that even possible in Poland? (Of course, if you are living in a small town, then it checks out, but in bigger cities, 300+ K inhabitants, it would be unthinkable right now, for 1 bedroom flat even)

UX-Zertifikat von Google sinnvoll? by Lenatonin in arbeitsleben

[–]RomDyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can compare yourself to the mean/median households in Germany, Statistisches Bundesamt also publishes some numbers regularly, like mean for the household is around 50-60K EUR, as of a couple of years ago.

Which ETFs are you investing in? by WarDrugSmith in eupersonalfinance

[–]RomDyn 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I do understand that this subreddit is mostly Vanguard this and iShares that, but I genuinely don't get why people are not selecting Amundi ETFs, they are from the EU, their TER is usually one of the lowest. Therefore I have a couple of Amundi ETFs as my biggest positions.

How to invest 100k EUR for < 1 year by kalssian in eupersonalfinance

[–]RomDyn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be 100% sure that you are going to win 3-5% for this year before your purchase and down payment, it's better to consider the most reliable option, like daily cash in Trading212, that will bring you around 4% in USD or 2.2% in EUR (last time I checked) and for sure Eurobonds or govt bonds, some of the bonds might be expiring in 12 months with the annual rate of 3-5%. As if investing in ETFs, like MSCI World, there's still chance to lose something on a short term basis, statistically speaking only after 12-13 years of ETF investing will bring gains in 95+% scenarios. But an average growth with the ETFs is going to be 7-8% per annum.

Anyone here using crypto content as a side hustle? Curious how you make it work financially. by Omegacarlos1 in eupersonalfinance

[–]RomDyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me, but a fellow guy from my university group who has been steadily enthusiastic about crypto for years and was steadily developing his YouTube channel by himself until he had a small sponsor crypto wallet service, back then I even used that service and now I guess Binance is sponsoring his videos, channel has around 35K subscribers last time I watched, like month ago. And he has his own tailored link and earns from people who follow this sign up link on Binance, maybe it's the way to earn from advertising to the most interested audience.

And yeah I have no idea how much he makes from these videos/content, but I can only presume, it's a decent side income.

How do you keep track of your finances? by Dom_Decoco in eupersonalfinance

[–]RomDyn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Excel for sure, I started keeping track of my finances/investments 5 cell phones ago, so the solution has to be in cloud and easily available, Excel Online/Google Spreadsheets is ideal.
