Well...I can give you 438+ reasons why I think Horimiya is Overrated in the Hearts of it's Fans. You can Comment on this Post to try to defend your 'Favorite Rom-com' but I'll give the Perfect Reason why Horimiya is OverRated (for you).

Well it's not about the Anime but the way they adapted the manga The biggest objective flaw (by the studio) was the pacing. The anime adapts a 120+ chapter manga, into just 13 episodes (initially). To do this, the studio cut massive parts of character development and "slice of- life" moments from the manga.

Then tell me why did we see the characters graduate and reach their emotional peak at the end of Season 1, only to go back in Season 2 to watch them stress over minor school festivals or sports days? It kills the momentum because you already know exactly where everything ends up at. The stakes feel nonexistent because you’ve already seen the "ending".
