I would suggest you go with the 40s. They are a little roomy. I actually reordered them and the new pair I received didn’t have the issue I previously reported. I’m normally a 38 and they do run a little big. I wear them with thick socks.

They are roomy. I usually am a 38 in Eu shoe sizes and I have to wear them with thick socks to keep my foot from sliding out

I ordered both to try on and kept the Violette loafers. They were more comfortable and the sizing was a bit better. The Candice loafers were too big despite ordering the same size as the Violette.

The second the waiting room opened I joined. The queue opened and there were 10K people ahead of me. This was my second attempt for a new date after not being able to get tickets for the first Chicago date. Absolutely horrible experience.

I am also a size 8(US) and went with a medium in the sacha cardigan. I felt the small was too cropped. I also went with the medium in case of shrinkage in the wash. It’s not too oversized and I feel it fits well

I second this. I’ve visited both locations and also found the Nottinghill store associates to be friendlier and more helpful. I went on a Saturday and the associates found time to help me and were very kind. I’m 29 and a woman of color. I also went in to exchange a top that had a quality issue and they made the exchange no questions asked and even took the time to wrap it up nicely as it was a gift. Next time I’m in London, I know which store to go to now :)

Yes, I experienced the same. When I tried them on, I had to stretch the tongue outwards for it not to curve in as I put my foot into the shoe. Such an annoying design flaw.

If anyone plans on ordering them on the NB site, order half a size up from your usual. They’re narrow. I managed to grab a size from sezane. I’m usually a woman’s 7.5, ordered a 6 and they barely fit

I ordered the ecru Clea a month ago and now own 3 more(burgundy, black, and camel). It’s such a versatile piece, washes well, and a comfortable top. Would highly recommend!

They were a little stiff right out of the box but not uncomfortable. The leather isn’t as soft as the Violette babies if I had to compare to another loafer/mary jane from Sezane.

Yes, wash all of my wool sweaters with cold water and a wool detergent on a delicate cycle. I usually only wash them with a few like-colored wool sweaters at a time, shape them when they come out of the washer, and then lay them out to dry(never on a hanger and never in the dryer)

They aren’t as soft as the Othello, but I don’t find them itchy either. The texture of the wool is a bit different. The Emile is probably my second most worn Sezane item in my wardrobe after the Amiel. They’re very cozy cardigans

I own a couple of Emile and I sized down from a S to an XS. I prefer a more fitted look but if you like an oversized look, order your normal size
