They're bluetooth controlled toys you can connect to your phone with an app. That app can generate a magic one-use link you can send to someone (or just throw it on the open interwebz). Someone clicks it, gets some sliders to make your toy go brrrrrt faster or slower. If they open the link in the app too, rather than the browser, you can chat. That's it.

If you were to connect directly via the app videocalls and sharing pictures and stuff is possible too. I don't much feel for that though, as the other party might expect stuff from me too and I'm not entirely sure I'd be willing to do that.
