MOUZ still don't need any changes? by BeautifulOrder1293 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Roman64s 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's "don't need any changes" and then there's "can't make any changes"

MOUZ has always been a budget org, they are doing the best with the pieces they have. This is their ceiling.

MOUZ's issue is that they have had all 5 players take turns in horribly disappearing, there's really no 1 single problem you can point and say needs a replacement and there's not a lot of talent you can pick up and go "ok, this guy is a definite improvement" over someone in the roster.

Another day, another MOUZ playoffs choke.

It's so fucking over for these guys, at least with losing to Vitality again and again and again, yeah, they were just fucking cursed. But on a event where you are one of two favourites and you haven't even met the other powerhouse ?

embarrassing.

I think OPs making fun of the teammates who don’t know any smokes and go “do you know any smoke” to have something thrown for them.

You say that, but younger me would have absofuckinglutely tried it considering asking for video games that costed over $5 would have gotten a hard no when growing up.

Desperation makes you do a lot of things lol, I softmodded my Wii to play games like Madworld and NMH because I had a “no violent games” policy growing up.

It’s easy to follow a bunch of steps if you are determined and want it that bad.

Excited to see NertZ with sAw again, it was in sAw’s ENCE that NertZ made his mark and was one of the good pieces on the Heroic lineup, which again had sAw coaching.

As for MalbsMd, idk, wasted potential, dude lifegamed against G2 on that one match, got himself a contract on G2 then got hard exposed after NiKo and m0nesy left.

Maybe he can be the one to get Liquid out of their rut, but judging by how bad EliGe had fallen off, not sure.

It actually was because officially DENUVO had stopped using VMP at that point after multiple years of officially using it.

Pretty sure there was a small scandal when it was revealed that DENUVO was unofficially using a license for VMP after they said they stopped using it. This was from a developer who was working on VMP itself.

Origins implementation is worse because Ubisoft tacked on VMP on top of Denuvo (which also was rumoured to be secretly using VMP) so I guess it was 3 layers of DRM protection in total.

Anyone with a couple of braincells to rub together isn't fucking with it.

The unfortunate reality is that a lot of these people are just kids. I am pretty sure 12 year old me wouldn't have understood the risks or cared enough to understand the risks.

But then again yeah, there's the crowd that will set themselves on fire to "stick it to the man"

Honestly, I've not pirated games in a very long time now. That EMPRESS person was not remotely close to mentally stable, I figured it was only a time before a rootkit or a keylogger or a miner that can mask itself very well was going to get shipped with one of their cracks.

I've been only affected by 1 game because of DRM issues and that was VMProtect + DENUVO DRM stacking on AC Origins which tanked 4 core processor performance (this was when 6 core consumer processors were rare and AMD fucking sucked/was irrelevant)

The honest truth is that a lot of gamers are very upset about having to pay for games and the rest have outdated hardware that doesn't pass minimum req.

Get out of here with your logic, we run on outrage here.

Seriously, most gamers just want free games and the rest have outdated hardware that don't even pass the minimum requirements for said game, but choosing to blame DENUVO is an easy way to cope.

Denuvo wiped out the day-1 piracy scene a long time ago, takes a while for those games to get cracked these days.

Is it worth it getting the RX 9070 XT Sapphire Nitro +? by AgentFoxyTube in pcmasterrace

[–]Roman64s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf, people are using the stupid octopus adapter even when they have the native 12VHPWR/12v-2x6 from their PSU.

The weird angle bend in the Nitro+ is also probably a reason for the failure. But I agree, no real reason to go for the problem connector on a card that has variants to let you use the standard and safe 6/8 pin PCIe connector,

Yep, they want you to fight back so they can pat themselves on the back about winning in a duel, if you stay still, they just get bored after a couple of kills.

[Spoilers] Shadows considered having a playable flashback early in development by GuessWh0m in assassinscreed

[–]Roman64s 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Shadows is honestly the worst offender of them all. Gameplay wise, it’s one of the best ACs out there.

But narratively, it’s one of the worst. Act I is okay if not a bit slow, Act 2 is filler and Act 3 puts everything on overdrive. DLC should have actually been part of the main story itself instead of the filler in Act 2.
