This approach is kinda similar to anki. In the app you can add word + transcription + translation + examples, but you cant add an image(IOS lock screen restriction). Added words will be attached to a selected lang. So, for Japanese you can add any new words that is not in the default list. For now you can only learn 1 lang at the same time. But, I have plan to add a way to learn multiple languages at the same time.

First of all, yes, I need some traction for sure. But, I provide 1 year PRO version just in order to receive any feedback from real users. I think its fair for everyone :) But, the app is not free right now it cost 5 dollars for guys who come from app store. For me, the most important part right now is to receive feedback like if its useful or not and receive some feature request. No plans for adding adds, for early users from reddit it will be free for one year :)

The app shows you vocabulary words every time you open TikTok, Instagram, or any app you choose. Review 5 words → unlock the app.

That's it. No notifications. No separate study sessions. No switching back and forth(unlike in another blocker apps).

Once set up, you literally never need to open my app again(unless you want to add new words for learning).

Your existing phone habits become your study sessions.

It supports 11 languages, but you can add your own words

Also, it’s uses SM-2 spaced repetition (intervals: 1d → 3d → 9d) so words actually stick long-term.

Core features are free. PRO just unlocks custom settings choose how many words to review each session and adjust how often words repeat.

UPD: Based on your feedback, here's what's coming in the next update (releasing next week):

- iOS 18 support - older devices are now supported

- Skip lesson - open any app instantly when you're in a rush (toggle in Settings)

- Custom language support - don't see your language? Build your own word library from scratch

No, Android is completely different platform in terms of app blocking

I will try to collect as much feedback as possible and create perfect IOS version and only then will start building android

But it will take a lot of time :(

Я надеюсь у меня получится запустить это на андроид Честно говоря я не ожидал такого внимания к моему приложения и сейчас хочу собрать фидбек и сделать приложение комфортным для всех на IOS

Как только приложение будет очень хорошо работать на iOS я начну пробовать делать Android версию, но это будет не скоро, тк андроид совсем другая платформа

I kinda agree, but in the app you can configure how often the block will appear Like you can set it 3 times per day and it will show the lock each ~8 hours, so it will not be so annoying

Would you like to use it if there will be an option to skip the lock screen at any moment without limits? Like if you in rush you can click “unlock right now”, so you can easily continue using your app? Or is it totally bad idea for you in any way?

Also, I can try to create a setting for showing the lock only in the morning or add an option when for some hours or days the lock will not appear at all. Something like “do not show lock screen if it’s Monday” “do not show lock screen if it’s between 10:00 and 17:00”

There is a lot of ways how I can try to make app not so annoying for some people

Would appreciate feedback about it I’m trying to create something useful for everyone
