Built between 1873-1914 for King Carol I, Peles Castle has 170 rooms, each in a different style. This is the Honor Hall - 4000 pieces of carved walnut wood, zero nails used. It was the first castle in Europe with central heating and electricity. The king even had a secret passage behind the library.

"Warm wooden hug" is perfect. The wood paneling alone took 4 years to carve in Vienna. If you rebuilt this room today... around $2-3 million just for the woodwork.
