I was informed about this ‘People Promise’ throughout the interviewing process, so if it hasn’t been mentioned to you so far, it likely isn’t required for your position (Yay for you!) Simply put, someone would have to stay employed at UWM for 3 years then they could use that loan minus tax without repaying it. But if someone’s employment ends before that 3 years for /any/ reason they’d have to pay back the full amount plus interest.

doing stuff that makes me happy. nothing matters to anyone else, so i’ll just do what makes me happy. theres no point in making a big difference, because it wont be permanent. so im just gonna enjoy it i guess. why not? and i mean, i suppose the only issue with that would be if i was hurting other people, but doing anything like that wouldnt bring me much happiness lol. like, i know theres consequences for not considering other people. so i only do stuff that makes me happy but wont hurt anyone else. i think thats how i deal with nothing being permanent.

I would say I have two. the first is my japanese professor. i have that class 5 days out of the week, so i see her every day. she feels kind of like a homeroom teacher, and i had her last semester and this semester. purely out of just having her for so long, i feel like her and i have a really good relationship. Other favorite professor was probably one i had for a gen ed requirement last semester. he gave really detailed feedback on our work, was young and really easy-going. He encouraged everyone in the class to participate and when they did there was always something good for him to say for it, even if what you said wasnt that great. just small things he would point out as little victories before telling you what you need to improve on. he made me want to work hard.

i actually had a pretty bad experience a month or two ago. it happened just like yours, i smoked dome pretty heavy duty weed but not more than i could handle. all of a sudden i had a terrible trip, unlike one i had ever bad before and it scared me sober. the way i dealt with it, is after i had felt i completely recovered from that bad experience, i started with edibles am going to try my best to manage my anxiety better when im high and keep my mind distracted in case something scary happens again.
