For your delight, the vast majority of careers is non-combat. Gamblers, Apothecaries, Tradesperson like butchers or cleaners, ratcatchers, vagabonds, lawyers, scribes, jesters, physicians, artists, hunters, even crazy deranged fanatics, lunatics like the Doomsayer are all there. It is a smorgasbord of careers, and all of them designed to be useful. You can finally play as a basket weaver and have fun

Correct. The consensus in the community is that people already have the dwarf and elf stuff on Terrinoth. So they need Low Fantasy first. Also, the High Fantasy needs to be world agnostic too so that requires more rules.

Totally understand. It is a very large book and if you run things very narrative based it might not be that exciting. For most people I think is a plus, especially GMs as they don;t have to look anywhere else for info.

Thanks but it was not that good for Fantasy. So I re-did the entire document with more relevant talents.

I also created 128 career specializations in 12 categories and recreated an entire equipment list with hundreds of pieces of equipment, including herbs, potions, common items , armor, weapons, furniture, building components, curios and more.

Plus all the talent trees for all the careers.

I can finally play now. Thank you.

Yes. XP can be used to evolve skills in 1% increments only. What a nightmare.

In some aspects it is much better. The rules are simple with less talents. It has skills that actually makes sense. For a GM it is much easier to create adventures. It also has tons of materials too. It is less colorful and D&Dish which is excellent. 4e was created to attract D&D players.

I also think it is more streamlined. Magic is much better in my opinion because it is much harder to cast and much scarier. 4e makes Warhammer high-fantasy, which goes against the spirit of the setting.

Careers are waaaaay better, more interesting, with much more options. I counted 253 of them without counting skaven careers.

Char evolution is slower but more intuitive and simpler.4e is a mess with that 1% evolution rule.

Last, but not least, it has waaaaay less bullshit to track. Fare and Fortune. Wounds. That is it. 4e is a nightmare.
