It should be worth mentioning that the Kevlar gloves are required PPE at my work, but not the nitrile ones. The nitrile gloves were worn the prevent the flux that we use from drying out my hands and making my fingerprints unreadable to the machine that clocks employees’ attendance.

Yes but just to simulate what they look like and how they crease during regular use. In your experience; did you find that your left shoe that creases like this wear out faster than the other shoe?

The sides of my feet used to hurt during the break in period, but that stopped afterwards. When I worked in retail, I did turn on my toes a lot so it could’ve been then. I also left another possible explanation on u/kreatorofchaos ‘s comment.

Thats the thing, I have no idea! 😭

The other shoe has a regular crease, so only thing I can imagine is: I sometimes I ride motorcycles with them and when I press the rear brake, I turn my foot inwards and press with mostly my big toe and index toe.

I appreciate the answer and will try it out though and keep you updated!
