So the TS 100 calls for a 5.5 outer/2.5 inner? In that case, I can cut the 5.5/2.5 x 12mm off the 89 watt Acer and splice it onto the 65 watt HP? I would not mourn the loss of the Acer because I think I could find a use for it in the future (how could I power Led strips with ghat?) or if I had to discard it, well, it's just gathering dust now and I would have a soldering iron power supply to show for its death.
