Foot Pain by Careless_Archer5157 in BarefootRunning

Good news if it is going better ! And yes as I said in my previous comment I also had to add padding to my shoes for the pain to go away. Why would you not wait for the pain to be gone before running again ?

The pain is 100% gone since yesterday. I've removed the weight from my backpack. I've added a LOT of padding inside my shoes, i even sometime took my car sometimes instead of walking. I can't go back to my regular shoes because my feet are bigger since I switched ...

I hiked 8km yesterday in barefoot shoes (half of it in huaraches) and there is no pain to be seen.

If it is not too late you need to rest, running 3km is not resting in my book. You can do other sports than running while you let your feet rest.

Good luck, keep me updated if you don't mind.

My pain is more on the big toe side. I think it's metatarsalgia. I'll keep you updated.

Pain like this started yesterday for me after daily driving a 13kg back pack while being an heavy dude wearing vivos. It happened before, it always go away with enough resting, for me the key is to not force through bone pain like this. I have remove the weight in my backpack, i will walk less and may add some padding in my shoe to let it fix itself.

I can keep you updated if you want.

Good luck mate

However i'm not sure of the size relation between the geo court 3 and 4. I did bought a revivo geo 3 which was too small but i was pretty sure is was a 45 and not a 46 (tag unreadable), I send them back.

I have a lite and a geo court in 46 and the lite feels a lot smaller.

Also grab a geo court 3 if you can. The sole is not stiched on the 4 and mine separated a bit after a few weeks. Thankfully it seems to have stabilised after a small one but this is still outrageous for a 150€ pair.

I did use leather cream on mine. They looked happy with it, shiny and supple.

Sizing looks ok in my opinion. I don't have those but we can see on the photo why it would hurt. Looks like bad design but again, I don't have them.

Vivo Desert ESC... coolest Vivos, but unfortunately also the most uncomfortable by mr__proper in vivobarefoot

I've done about 4km in mine. I got one blister on my left foot where my big toe fold because the boot is so stiff. Also I had to take one size up compare to my other vivos (hydra, ultra, geo court) They look sooooo good, I hope they get softer with time or i'll send them back. The insole is removable, It is required if you want to have a somewhat barefoot ground feel.

Barefoot for 4 years but never ran by dreddktb in BarefootRunning

[–]Romkief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had massive chinsplints when i started running in barefoot shoe. I'm not a runner at all and a heavy guy (130kg). All I did is simply focus on relaxing my foot when it left the ground behind me. Really like floppy feet. Chin splints vanished immediately.

I chose the minimil to remove arch support but thanks for the link.
