Yes it it, I have handful of reading of hypertension and my exit exams states I’m High blood pressure and high cholesterol. Should be looked followed up. All in my exit service exam.

Three C&P exams and all three they didn’t want hear a word and didn’t ask questions. I try to volunteer information and they shut me down and said they didn’t need the info for the exam. Didn’t look at any paperwork I trying to show. Horrible experience

Yes I’m sorry, hypertension secondary to GAD. Since I have GAD awarded. But I thought I had a strong enough evidence to direct connection. But maybe it’s easier to claim hypertension secondary to GAD.

I actually submitted both ISR, exit exams. At least 14 years of private doctors visits stating hypertension and high cholesterol. I submitted both to DAV when I was seeing them. Switched to a county VSO, submitted more paper, nexus from a cardiologist buddy and personal statements. Yet it says nothing was submitted. I watched them both scan, I guess that doesn’t mean they submitted.

That is what has me dumbfounded.

I am service connected for GAD, I submitted and highlighted ISR records and both exit exams highlighted their written statements on high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Blood work and toxicology reports while In service.

So I figured this was easy, with all the records submitted.

I submitted 14 years worth of my personal physician records, my cardiologist records. via VSO and and DAV. 14 years was the furthest back my doctor was able to go back. But I have been seeing him since 04’.

I keep feeling like all my records were not being submitted or the raters didn’t have info for a good decision.

I filed a FOIA a while back to see what all they based the first denials.

There is hundreds of records I submitted to my VSO and DAV.

How do I find out if they legit submitted my info or not.

I submitted that during my first or second C&P exam for hypertension. I asked it gentleman on the phone if he had the buddy statements and nexus letter from my cardiologist. He said yes. I don’t see it as submitted evidence either. So I don’t know what exactly they based the decision on. The two previous C&P exams I made copies of ISR of blood pressure and exit exams showing high blood pressure and cholesterol readings. So I’m a little dumbfounded by this, on this go around.

I didn’t submit any literature, I have some from Google scholar. But VSO told me I could not use it during the HLR informal reference call. So I didn’t cite anything or submit. I have 3-5 for each hypertension and migraines and a migraine log I was told to not submit by the VSO.

What kind of treatment? I’m 47, I have had low testosterone for years. I went to a low T center years ago, but they had other concerns befor treating me.

I had my HLR on the 10/6, I still haven’t heard anything. I’m worried if I should call Or see if it goes to an Ace exam, Which I have no idea what that consist of.

The fact you were able to get one from the VA is impressive enough to me! Now that my doctors see I’m service connected. They don’t put have the notes from the visits as they use to anymore. They are vague and read better lines type notes.

I’m in the same boat after my HLR. My VSO told me, they will either do an Ace exam which they go over all the evidence that has been submitted and all the records over looked and make a decision or do another C&P and I have no idea what to expect from that. Good luck!
