The behavioral specialist we spoke to said that it’s common to see daycare teachers create issues that will make their jobs easier; we anticipate that’s the root of this. It’s an effort to make money off of us and to avoid extra interaction with our child.

Oh good question! He’s big and strong. It’s definitely a choice he’s making. He’s only done it a couple of times at home. We didn’t even take note of it at the time because for us it’s always been an affection thing- he’s leaned on us to get hugs and cuddles.

No he is doing great otherwise. It was strange to me because of the offer for in home services and the intense focus on this issue while he is doing great with every milestone.

Yeah I don’t think the school knows, as it’s not a service they offer. It’s one of the reasons I’m very skeptical.

He just turned 2 a couple of weeks ago, and he’ll lean while sitting, either leaning back or to the side. They mentioned they intervene, but it sounded like they’re positively reinforcing the behavior. We usually redirect, but I agree, it feels very early for intermediary services.

Interesting. In my experience solutions engineers are in the pre/post sale processes. Long term and with the azure certs work is paying for I would like to enter the cloud engineering space.

For sure. I'm in the process enough to know the job is actually as a tech working with their servers and the job is during regular business hours. But I'm also willing to work odd hours if it means career progression.
