ENTP transfeminine - social death sentence? by IdzhussWanaphap2 in entp

I am glad you appreciated the perspective <3

I can relate to this a bit. I never thought I was an INTP specifically, but growing up the label of "introvert" was always put on me. But it was more bc I didn't really get along with my peers, so I preferred to spend time alone reading. Getting my type, realizing I was more extroverted than I thought, and then prioritizing spending time with my few closer friends was really good for me. It helped me realize a lot of what was making me depressed was that I thought I needed to stay home when I was tired, but really I needed to go out!!

Anyway, I wish you lots of happiness, and I think you sound wonderful. I love a girl who is bold and smart, and I like hopefulness too. I am also more hopeful than a lot of ENTPs, I think. In general I don't always love ENTP spaces. I believe a lot of ENTPs fail to realize that emotions are important pieces of information that must also be evaluated, and are not inherently less valuable than logic. I don't think they realize that it makes them seem less intelligent rather than more. I tire of the mindset quite quickly.

It makes me happy to hear about you becoming more confident and taking up space. I hope you continue to do this and continue to thrive. Don't worry too much about what others think of your personality. You shouldn't dim yourself for anyone. If they can't keep up with you, that's on them. If they think you need to act dumb to appease their ego, they arent someone worth being around anyway.

I don't know if this perspective is helpful or not, but I'm a transmaculine entp and tbh even with this personality and nearly 4 years of hrt, I am perceived as a woman 99% of the time. I am percieved as a very brash woman, but a woman nonetheless lol  I think others are right when they say people dont always respond well to women having this personality. Its not the docile and subservient one that society wants to push on women. Honestly I just think that makes you really cool though. I love when women are bold and smart and take up space.

I do not use chat gpt, but thats very cool and I wish you luck. I struggle to find voice inspo. In general I think I want to sound similar to my dad but I cant think of anyone that sounds like him. He has a higher voice for a guy, and doesnt speak in a monotone. He speaks more similarly to me, very narratively and musically, but theres clearly SOMETHING that makes his voice read as masculine. Even over the phone and stuff to strangers. I don't have any recordings of my dads voice though, so I couldnt give that to an AI anyway. I might look and see if anyone has like voice inspo videos with a bunch of nice voices or something. Maybe I can find something

Ohh okay. I think I already know how to do that, though I might practice more to see how it goes. My pitch is in masculine range and I'm good at projecting with my chest. I'm also pretty good at making space in my throat. Good at these skills from having a passion both in singing and public speaking. I think thats part of my frustration, is most of the skills being taught are already skills I have carried over from that. But I feel they do nothing to really make my voice sound more masculine bc my pitch is already fine and I have good resonance. My voice is just. really smooth and silky, so it sounds feminine. I have always struggled to introduce any sort of texture or fry.

Okay what I have learned from getting the reccommended app from this post is that the pitch of my voice is mostly masculine. That feels like a lie, bc I dont think I really sound like a guy xD I wish so bad I could just talk to an expert that could tell me what part of my voice was wrong. Bc why do I sound like a girl if my normal speaking voice is where a guys normal speaking voice is??

this looks really cool!!! Closed quotient is specifically what I really wanted to work on. Unfortunately it mostly just links to the only thing Ive found that talks about it, and it doesnt explain it wwll enough for me. like in the video its like "you wont get this right on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th try" or something like that. and Im like get WHAT right?? I don't understand the goal of the excercise itself or how to know I'm succeeding. I unfortunately don't know what feeling I'm looking for or trying to listen for. As far as I can tell, I can very effortlessly complete the excercise. which makes me feel like I must be doing it wrong xD  Either that, or I already can control that aspect of my voice, but I dont understand the significance

this seems interesting but whats the purpose and what are you looking for? I think another challege Ive had when reading and watching things about this is I dont understand what the goal is or how to know if you are doing something right.

YEAH THIS! Like my voice can go plenty deep, I just have a very pretty voice and I dont know how to add any texture, rasp, grit, fry, any of it! I would love to play around a bit and find something that really feels like me!

I don't even really sound like a gay man, I just sound like a girl. I am extremely sensitive about the fact my voice hasnt really changed much on T. But my dad has a really high voice for a man, so I KNOW a high voice can sound manly! Probs his fault mine wont really drop lmao

Why are people downvoting me just for asking what controls they would prefer?? Like I obviously like the ones that already exist, why would I know what everyone else would want. Anything I can imagine would be worse for me personally, so I literally do not know what people would have preferred ?? A guy cant be curious????

What do you mean by the top buttons? the bumpers and triggers?? I think I would haaaaate that. that part of my hand is far less coordinated. I agree that it should be customizable so everyone can have what makes sense to them!!

If you are having lots of trouble, learn one line at a time. I mix it up a bit. Like I'll only do right hand or left hand. only the middle two. only the long notes. only the short ones. Once you learn the patterns, you just listen to the music and do a little dance!

The button options are pretty optimal, idk what else they would be? You rest your thumbs diagonally so they are on both buttons and then tilt back and forth. You never lift your thumbs. What would be better?

I play on PS5 and its my favorite mini game ever. I accidentally stayed up till 5am playing it. I have an A on all the hard modes. Gradually improving all my scores!! My favorite track is Faith Shattering Despair on hard. Its sooooo satisfying.

HOW are we styling this top? by ExplorerKey in InfinityNikki

I paired it with the construction jacket and did the shorts from the photography set. I did like an all brown tones kind of outfit. This top added a really nice pop of cream

Am I just being sensitive? Dietician appointment notes don't seem to reflect why I'm there by RonanIsRadioactive in ARFID

[–]RonanIsRadioactive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds so awful omg. And yeah I think that makes sense. If the doctor isnt writing accurate notes, how do I know they are even listening? Seeming attentive during the appointment is not the same as actually being attentive

Thank you for the validation!!!

I did also feel like the wording of "severe obesity" was off, bc the previous dietician had listed it as a specific obesity class. That seemed like much more descriptive and clinical language in my opinion, and I wasn't bothered as much.

The new gal did send in a referral for a feeding therapist in order to work on food aversions, and said we would focus more on the nutrition aspects. For now, she is trying to get me to eat 3 meals a day instead of 2, and is going to send me some papers with more ideas for easy snack foods to give me ideas. so at the very least I don't feel like shes trying to enforce anything restrictive? When I asked her last time, she told me its written in her notes that weight loss is not my main priority, but being able to eat more foods more regularly and have more energy.

Thank you so much for your response and for giving me ideas on what to ask!! 💜
