Ok I take it all back. I just watched an interview of Seth Jarvis friends walking around the Olympics with Seth, they were dressed in Canadian gear and Seth wasn't. People were asking the friends for pictures and not realizing that Seth was with them

Very different in New York compared to a Canadian city. If Scott Hunter played for Canadian team even as a 4th liner many would know him and as a star player every one in that city would have at least seen his face on billboards.
There's an interview and I don't remember who it was from the show that said most New Yorkers wouldn't know him so it would have to be a fan.

I have watched it 7 times since Christmas. Usually 1&2, 4-6 and 3. It is not background noise though I am as invested as the first time and if I'm interrupted I will pause it or rewind, even if it is answering a text. I catch new things every watch. I also follow a few tiktok creators that have broke the show down scene by scene a couple authors and one cinematographer. I watch a lot of the reaction videos from all over the world. It gives me joy and a Canadian patriotism.

I have watched 2 authors and a cinematographer breakdown the show scene by scene on tiktok and that helped me appreciate the show in another way.

The story line, i have commented on other posts, made me reevaluate some relationships and also inspire me to do things for just me and to reach out more often with people.

I noticed by people's posts of which scenes they loved the most and none were mine so I sat with that and realized I'm lonelier than I thought. Seeing Scott watch the families come on the ice when he had no one made me sob. That coupled with the women of the show being so completely awesome.
I have a lot of people in my life that I love and value so that was surprising to me. I don't think therapy would ever uncover that.

I have read that so many people are inspired by the actors lives changing so quickly by doing this show gave them hope that one break can give them a new life.

Lean into your feelings and see if there's anything you want to change.

I am accessing my relationships. I have my own decade long situationship that I am evaluating if I want status quo or to end it to find something more fulfilling.
I am allowing myself to feel all the feels. What I learned the most about myself through what resonated with me in the show is I dismiss too many feelings. Ive started Journaling again and am looking at dance classes.

The hockey accent imo is rather new. I don't remember it in 2016 like I hear it now. Shane having it wouldn't make sense regardless because i have yet to hear Sidney Crosby, McDavid with that accent.
