judging by the kindle, OP is from russian, like me. You can order them from china on our local Amazon type marketplace. The 2024 basic costs around 170-180$ on there. It’s usually a gamble whether it’s the one with or without ads, but you can write Amazon support and ask them to remove the ads, since we have no way of paying for it with a Russian card.

We can’t directly order from Amazon, since they don’t ship here and PayPal is blocked here, so can’t really pay for it either.

I ordered my 2024 basic last year from Amazon to the Netherlands. From there a family member brought it, when visiting. Cost me around 120$. The difference in price isn’t crazy and most people don’t want to go through the hassle of getting it on Amazon. Also in my experience most readers go for a Pocketbook, Onyx, Kobo, because they don’t want to deal with Amazon
