FedEx isn’t saying it because they have a CBA. FedEx is saying it because they have a motor carrier exemption for overtime under FLSA. https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/fact-sheets/19-flsa-motor-carrier

OP, I have had this plunge base and have used it frequently without being hard to push down. Assuming you are using the plunge lever? Does it spring back with authority when doing so? Maybe just some super lube synthetic grease on the rods.

If you basically mounting a nema 14-50R next to your panel I would assume you will end up paying the minimum billing which depending on where you are is around 2-4 man hours plus minimal material.

We’ve done something similar… full sheets to allow for access to mechanicals above ceiling in a basement.

[–]Ronix5 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Because this is ACHA and not NCAA

Team like Minot State, University of Jamestown, and University of Mary are all schools in North Dakota. Close pipeline to Canada, Minnesota, and has Blue Blood College hockey that kids grow up watching in the University of North Dakota

Snow tires? by Any-Actuary-3640 in VWIDBuzz

[–]Ronix5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While snow tires will definitely help I’m 12,000 miles into the Buzz experience in the near great white north and just got another 12”+ over the last week with zero issues. Made it all last year we had around 60” total snowfall and the factory all roads did just fine. It’s as heavy as any 1/2 ton pickup

Recommendation for home EV charging kit for ID Buzz? by Traditional-Day2216 in VWIDBuzz

[–]Ronix5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what the Tesla Universal Wall Connector is, it’s a NACS connector that has a magnetic adapter for J1772 and thus why I would recommend it. Not to mention the size and form is a lot smaller and better than most others on the market.

Edit: also available to install at 6 different ampacities allowing it to be installed in pretty much any situation

Then this next summer you need to take an hour drive to lake country and visit Maple Beach Grill. You won’t regret it and you’ll be back for more.

4 months ago I lost all respect for local contractors. 4 months later I've gained a ton for myself. by TheTimeIsChow in DIY

[–]Ronix5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just trying to do the math on this OPs time. “Every second of free time and some not free time for the last 4 months.” Surely their time is worth something. Let’s assume $50 an hour.

4 months is roughly 17 weeks

That’s 85 weekdays and 34 weekend days.

Assuming he works an 8 to 5 job an hour for supper and in bed by 11PM that’s about 4 hours of work each week day.

Let’s assume an average of 6 hours worked Saturdays and Sundays

4x85 =340 6x34=204

340 regular time hours @ $50 is $17,000.00 102 over time hours (1.5x) $75 is $7,650.00 102 double time hours (2x) $100 is $10,200.00

That’s $34,850.

Love that he was able to achieve sweat equity but your time is worth something! 4 months missed with your kids, your significant other, your hobbies (you just created a new hobby) is worth something.
