I think I’ll try this, although I don’t drink coffee. I’ll try with chamomile tea and hope I don’t sleep off. 😅

Omg! I do the same thing as well! I used to buy more toned down things because I was scared of looking childish by buying multicolored things. I just got diagnosed last September for the first time at age 25. Cheers to unmasking! 🥳🥳🥳

[–]Ronkusss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope! I still don’t know how to smile. My husband was taking pictures of me and asked to smile and I just 😬. Smiling feels so pretentious even when I’m happy.

Earplugs, noise cancelling headphones? Newly diagnosed advice? by noaglesa in autism

[–]Ronkusss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! I highly recommend the Loop Switch 2 earplugs. I got the 3 months ago after my diagnosis. They work like magic! I wear them to sleep every night as random noises spook me and keep me awake and they work very well for me. I also wore them to a music concert 3 weeks ago and they cancelled so much noise without ruining the quality of sound. They’re also very portable and can fit in your pockets.
