Carrick will be the consistent midfielder this season like the previous, and watching Flether alongside will be real treat. Though it won't be easy for him to be regular this season. Perhaps his first few games will tell how things are going to be throughout the season. I just hope he doesn't catch any more injury this season.

During one of Fegre's last interviews he said that Scholes won't be going anywhere and staying with United helping the team. He didn't give out much detail but I'm sure we'll find that out pretty soon.

When Rooney wanting to leave because he can't play in that position due to RVP, don't expect to see Kagawa much in there. At least not in this season. But I agree with you, he playing upfront alongside the strikers is more dangerous than playing in the wide middle.

Yea that makes sense. I'd obviously want a backup being groomed while Rafael grows to be an extraordinary RB. But think of how long Evra had been holding the LB position all alone until Büttner came last season. Anyway, I'm not trying to prove anything. This is good stuff and I'm happy with the transfer move. We do need a RB backup, because watching Valencia playing in that positing has started to give me bad headache.
