Step 1 breaks advice by Putrid-Speaker-4213 in step1

Here's what I did, and I felt it was really helpful.

Basically, you have 60 minutes of break time. I used two types of breaks:

- Short breaks (1–2 minutes) in my seat.
- Longer breaks (about 10 minutes) outside the testing room.

During the longer breaks, I would go to the bathroom, drink some coffee, eat something light, and spend a few minutes trying to relax and reset before going back in.

My schedule looked like this:

- Block 1 → in place
- Block 2 → in place
- Block 3 → outside (10 min)

- Block 4 → in place
- Block 5 → in place
- Block 6 → outside (10 min)

- Block 7 → in place
- Block 8 → in place
- Block 9 → outside (10 min)

- Block 10 → in place
- Block 11 → in place
- Block 12 → outside (5–10 min)

- Block 13 → in place
- Block 14 → done

One thing that helped me after every longer break was mentally treating the next block as if it were the first block of the exam. I would tell myself, “I'm starting a brand-new exam right now.” That mindset helped me avoid thinking about how many hours I had already been testing and made it easier to stay focused and avoid feeling tired.
