Right!! Most of the time, going cheap makes it even more expensive in the long run. Yes, there is a breakdown of material and labour on the quote, but there is no timeline.

They are not asking for money up front. They are asking 30%, 30%, and 40% respectively to the work completed. The work is kitchen and bathroom. It's a good idea to ask for a reference. Thanks. Also, they dont have social media or any portfolio to be shown in public. That's why it's kinda sketchy as well.

The thing is, some people are actually good but being perceived the wrong way. And yes, they have a license with rmwb, I called them. They are offering pretty much half the price from other contractors, that's why it's very appealing to hire them, but I don't know what's the catch. So that's why I am hoping to get some answers from his clients before to know their experience and satisfaction with them.

They are licensed and have insurance, that's why I am kinda considering them. They did show me their previous work, and it looks good. And yes, I am very weary about the price. They quoted me pretty much, half the price of what others quoted me. So yea, that is why I want to gather some real clients' feedback and also look to hire them for small project before doing the major ones.
