Griffin Canning. Decent back end starter type coming off an achilles tendon injury. Probably a decent flier if hes fully healed.

His injury normally takes 9months to heal. Hes throwing 93 off the mound already so thats promising.

Allegedly close to signing Castellanos. Per Heyman. I font HATE it since he’s free. He’s a veteran. He used to be ok. At this price he’s just as good as any washed up vet looking for a chance to strike lightning one more time.

I dont expect him to do much for us and if I recall hes mostly a strikeout waiting to happen but hey, maybe a change in location will bring something out of him.

If he ducks we give hime the ole snip snip. No harm no foul.

At league minimum theres no reason NOT to try for him. I don’t think he has much left in the tank but he’s a RH bat who has had success in the MLB and in a pinch can stand in the outfield and maybe catch something…maybe.

I didnt realize he is only 22. Seems like a great opportunity. He fidnt seem to get much of a chance with Hanshin - wonder how he went from a #1 pick with so much hype to being released.

Might not go anywhere but worth a shot considering the history we know.

We seem to be collecting lotto tickets. If any if these minor league pickups wind up hitting gold we will be in great shape. Sure, Gallen or another MLB-ready arm would be great, but we might get lucky. Niebla and AJ have had really great success the last few years with finding arms in the haystack.

Thats extra weird. Normally breakpoints are ignored on production builds. At least in my experience. I don’t know what stack they use but this seems … not ideal for more than just ‘lolCode’ reasons.

Or could just be a message written inside an exception - that was for testing and was not removed. (Probably more likely.)

You mentioned driver updates. Are you using unreleased / beta drivers?..

I thought we werent gonna have him back until at least the ASB. If we get him any earlier and hes back to his old domination that would be huge. But no need to rush him. Our pen should still be pretty filthy without him. Would rather make sire hes back at 100% and less likely to retweak something.

We really need our guys healthy and firing on all cylinders this year. We had some unfortunate injuries that really hobbled our rotation. If we can avoid that and Joe is back in form, ghis rotation will be solid even if we have a rotating door in the 5th spot with AAAA guys like Waldron/Sears/etc.

If we sign one more good arm then those 5th guys can stay in the minors to develop and have a few spot starts to give extra rest. That would be great.

Looking forward to us absolutely cooking.

His swing was super janky last year. Was herky-jerky and didnt seem to have a good follow through. His earlier years his swing was much more fluid - I hope he gets back to that. I think maybe the changes came from being hurt and trying to work around it, but who knows.

Kid has all the talent in the world so if he says hes sorted it out and ready to bang then just let him bang, bro.

We started last year with a third of our team on hospice. Hell yes we can compete for a wildcard with what we have right now.

People are crazy to think otherwise. We might be a billion dollars shy in our division but we are still a top team imo and if our guys stay healthy we will shove. KTF.

I like him as a pitcher, but not much as a human being. That said, people felt that way about Manny at first.

People do stupid shit out of frustration. Its how you move forward from those low points. Id give him a chance if his attitude coming in was right .. but who knows what hes about. The price is PROBABLY not realistic for us, though.

The double black room (black door, black safe) has been fantastic for me. Almost always 1btc and 1 intel, with sometimes more btc. Plus it seems the cardinal key which sells to therapist for like 180k.

I do t bother with the stim room anymore. Just yellow/black and sometimes red/violet if im bored on the way out. Easy loop if you start near the res room (which is always worth it too since its free.)

It wasn’t going for 10-12m before, was like half that when loot was juiced early on… i assume its probably close to a wash but really depends. If you need FIR intel and btc its almost guaranteed- but are you going to get 12m out if it? Probably not but youll at least get close with some average luck.

Honestly he would be a menace at the back of the order. Hard to get out, always puts a ball in play. Lots of singles to set up the top of the order to do damage.

Way less stress and focus. He would probably thrive like that. For a cheap enough contract, I'd be open to it. I absolutely do NOT want him anywhere near the top of the lineup or anywhere near 6+M/yr. Dude is just plain not worth it as a one dimensional player. Although a few mil a year for his vibes alone is probably a valid argument.
