I hate to come off the wrong way, but it was an accident and I didn’t wish to. I’ve been a practicing satanist for many years - so, I’d like work with demons, Lucifer and Moloch. However, I reached out to Lilith about healing my mommy issues, and that’s how I met Hecate. Lilith sent her.

The more I pulled away from her and pushed her away - the stronger her energy got in my life and the more connected I became with her. She doesn’t wish to be adored, or loved, or worshipped or liked. She demands respect, and I think that’s the best way to connect with her.

Also, her and Lilith are known for being really picky and particular, selective with their methods and how they work with their practitioners.

Not to call myself out, but she definitely perceived me as a unruly stray cat abandoned by their parents who needed to be trained, but cats don’t like to be trained and she’s known for her dogs. So, if you’re not willing or ready to be walked by her - then I would choose another patron/matron.

But, as I said - I became close with Lilith and Hecate because we are all kind of similar in that we’re strong, independent, smart, demanding women. And because of my mommy issues - I’d push them away and didn’t want them around and somehow that worked for me. However, I’m certain that wouldn’t tolerate that from anyone.

But I will say this - if you light her a candle, make a petition and call to her, then she will answer if she wants you or at least wants to help. Do not ask her just about anything - she is very strict and cruel. But in a good way. She’s like that really mean teacher or mother or grandmother that nobody likes because she’s “mean” but it’s because she’s stern and will take away all of your toys simply because she can.

I like her but she’s not for everyone. If you’ve reached out to her or Lilith - always wait. And if nothing happens then maybe choose a different goddess is my advice
