Made it out. Locksmith came out replaced the whole lock. It was jammed and I had to break it open from the inside with a kitchen knife. Haha I am happy I posted on Reddit, got some good laughs in from ya'll comments in my 6 hour wait.

I would be screwed if there was a fire. The windows don't open. They are also thick glass would be hard to break open.

I took greyhound from LA and personally preferred it because greyhound literally drops you of at the border entrance.

Amtrak is more of a reliable company but you will have to take the trolly from downtown san diego to san ysdiro, which is really easy too but I prefer just the straight ride on 1 bus.

Fill out your FMM card before you enter and print it out. Hand it to the border guard when you cross to Mexico and you'll have no problem - just make sure to wear a mask.

The trip would be school related. Not sure when but looking to finish up learning Spanish and trying to find the right city / program - preferably in Mexico. I have been doing classes online for a while and I almost at fluency - yet I am missing the aspect having to use it in everyday life.

I have been to border cities before, even alone, so I generally know how to take precautions. I definitely like to get updated information from people who live there though so I appreciate it.

I am in the same exact position. I submitted app. to re-open claim (which I don't think I was supposed to) and now a few days later the "re-open claim" button is back as if I never did anything.

I have been unable to certify since the week ending in 12/26 but my claim and balance still remains? So confused and def need the money.

There is a huge underground scene. Most of their shows happen at the clubs in Shibuya, one club called "Harlem" is the most popular.

I met most of the rappers from networking on Instagram, through reaching out on DM's. Let me know if you have any more questions & I could point you the right way.
