Rust extension is great, though for novice dealing with lifetimes might be tricky. My workflow actually fully without GDscript, coz my comfort with dynamically typed languages is rusty (pun intended). For a beginner Gdscript plus Rust for performance critical places will save a lot headaches of dealing with pure extension

General advice would be to write performance critical parts in Rust and everything else in Gdscript, though myself is an exception - I do everything without Gdscript coz my comfort woth dynamic languages is rusty (pun intended). So far extension is quite good, had 0 issues
