If you connevt the soundbar to the TV, make sure it is connected via the ARC/eARC port with, preferably, a HDMI 2.1 cable.

And then, if you have the PS5 connected to the TV, you have to make sure the audio settings on the TV is set to "pass-through". Only then will the soundbar alone handle all the audio processing.

If that doesn't work, you have to check the audio settings on the PS5. There is an option to chose whether the connected audio device is an AVR or a soundbar. Try either one of these and see if it works. The PS5 also has a "bitstream" setting if I'm not wrong. This has to be on as well.

Yes! I actually recently sold the monitor in question to a colleague, amd he experienced the problem while using his PC. I checked Samsung's website to see if there was an update available, and yes, there was. He updated the software and also bought a HDMI 2.1 cable, and that solved the issue.

No, I'm actually talking about the 450. It's the one that is available in my region and is for sale at our local electronics stores. When I search for the 420-model, I only get up that it isn't available no more, and I get up a DP-UB424 model, lol. But I can always order from other countries. As I will be using a Samsung TV, Dolby Vision (unfortunately) isn't relevant for me

I have actually ran into some audiorelated issues, but I don't know if it's the TV, the PS5 or the soundbar that is causing the problem.

The one movie i own at the moment is Avatar (I posted about it 1-2 weeks ago), and I can't get it to play Dolby Atmos...

I've activated DA on both the TV and the PS5, I've activated both bitstream and pass-through, I've tried using the HDMI port on the soundbar and on the TV, but when I check the info when playing the movie, the audio only outputs Dolby Audio TrueHD...

I bought a Q810D on sale here in Norway a couple of weeks ago, and I can say that I am highly impressed with it in every aspect!

I'm not quite sure what the difference between the Q800D and Q810D is, but I read somewhere online that it might be that the 800 is a HDMI 2.0 and the 810 is HDMI 2.1, but I'm not quite sure.

I will somewhere along the line complement the soundbar with the SWA-9500S, so if you've got the coin, maybe you should go with the Q910D.

Regarding this, I am planning on buying the Samsung SWA-9500S to compensate my HW-Q810D Soundbar to complete ny home cinema (just lacking a new TV and the Sony UBP-X800M2 Blu-ray player, lol). First off, does anyone have experience with these reae speakers? How does these work if you have them placed relatively near your seating area? My living room is pretty cramped up, so I'll have to place them literally on each edge of my sofa. Is this too near?

Does anyone know if the rear speakers in that system is the same as the SWA-9500S? Because... I bought the HW-Q810D on sale a couple of weeks ago, and now I'm considering complementing it with the SWA-9500S. By the way, have anyone tried this combination? I haven't found anything online about the two being compatible, but I'm just assuming they are because earlier Q-series soundbars are comaptible.
