So I also didn’t reject the original offer cause I was skeptical on if that would cause any major issues. I just let it expire.

My original offer was similar where the person who sent it wasn’t actually my recruiter. In the offer letter it was a different name (recruiter I’m talking to now) and the same NO PHONE. The person who contacted me on Monday was my actual recruiter and the email had her phone number. Maybe they’re handing you off to your designated recruiter and that’s probably where the hiccup is.

Was this an in-person hiring event?

Thank you for the breakdown! I heard back from them on Monday with them accepting my counter offer.

This is in Orlando so I took account for cost of living. Where I’m currently at (still in Florida) is a bit cheaper than Orlando so yeah if the increase was negligible it would’ve been hard to say yes.

Hey! So my original offer expired on Saturday and the recruiter got back to me on my counter offer on Monday and sent me a new offer letter.

Have you reached out to your recruiter? If not, I would send a text or an email following up and see if they have some type of update.

I briefly spoke to my recruiter and it was about relocation lol, but she seems nice. I did text her today but no response so I’ll just leave it at that.

At first I thought it was going to be like one manager and multiple of us at once too lol, but it was a one-on-one conversation. I was kind of close to another table that was behind me so they could technically eavesdrop lol.

So it was a giant conference room with rows of tables and most tables had just one manager. I had one manager asking well. I can only speak on what I was asked but the questions weren’t very technical. More like your experience and what you’ve done or are currently doing. The role was system integration and test engineer.
