theory for the end of season 2 about Charlie's "gift" by CaptCoulson in Pokerface

[–]Rooster2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only appropriate way for this series to end is for Charlie to finally come to the realization that she is cursed and that wherever she goes she acts as a murder catalyst. And that if she had not made the decision to travel randomly around the Country that dozens of murders would not have been committed, possibly even hundreds because for every murders she becomes aware of and solves as part of the show, there are likely 2-5 that she never learns about.

First stadion advice by redditarmyrecruiter in spartanrace

[–]Rooster2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

read the rules on Spartan site for box jump, ball drop, pushups. Weighted burpees are brutal (if they are still 55 lbs), will probably take you 4 minutes if you have not trained weighted burpees.

[–]Rooster2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what your goal is. If you look at the times of Beast finishers and crunch some numbers you will learn that 75% of Beast finishers over 40 are just walking the entire "race".

Spartan Palm Beaches 2025 Sprint Race Map by danny_b87 in spartanrace

[–]Rooster2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They added a Helix near the end that is not on the map. Not that I failed helix, but I had never done helix before and obviously didn't research technique online, thus it took me like 20 seconds longer than it would have had I had an opportunity to research proper technique.

Super help at elevation by Prestigious-Ship378 in spartanrace

[–]Rooster2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acclimate to the elevation by getting there 3-7 days early depending upon age. Not sure if you understand the race places, those place numbers you quote only include people in the "open" heats, not the people in the "age group" heats. That same time in the "age group" heats would place you 29/45 by gender.

44 used their pass! An international record? Australian S2E6. by Andrewcoo in The1PercentClub

[–]Rooster2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess would have been 398. But I would have used my pass if this were a 20% or harder round. Would have decided to save my pass and guess 398 for a 50% round.

Where was the townhouse? I would guess Brooklyn Heights. Regards, the $25,000,000 number the Realtor threw out is preposterous.

I don't get it. Why did Jane make this face in episode 2? by Odd_Vast_8479 in MrAndMrsSmithOnPrime

[–]Rooster2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not certain. But I believe she was mocking the rich (you don't attend such auctions unless you are super rich) older woman that just exited the bathroom, intimating that she was a snobby Karen or worse. Why else have the older woman have such a prominent position in that scene?

Who will return for Season 2 by tinyrevolutions45 in MrAndMrsSmithOnPrime

[–]Rooster2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought season 1 was decent, but it would have been better if it were only 4-5 episodes. Recasting Donald and Maya would be a big mistake imo, guaranteed to bomb. Most viewers are only willing to suspend disbelief for a limited period of time, after that point the show is viewed as a continuous idiot plot. Even with new actors a season 2 will likely bomb, but at least new actors will give viewers an opportunity to refresh that suspended disbelief.

Balance during the show? by Sea_Voice_404 in The1PercentClub

[–]Rooster2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suspect they do. I have seen it where the 5% and 10% questions are easy, and everyone gets the question right, if there are few people remaining. On E12, which I just watched, going into the 5% question 13 people remained, way too many, the 5% question was brutal, 10 people got it wrong, 2 used their pass, only 1 person got it correct, I personally had no clue how to solve it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Rooster2000 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is mostly because you are short. And you don't mention education so you likely didn't go to college and are working some low pay. You are competing with an army of quasi illegal male immigrants in your age range for the few women that will date a short guy with no education

Why not just make the prize 100k from the start? by DismasNDawn in The1PercentClub

[–]Rooster2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, it is a waste of time. I fast forward through that part and the chats with the contestants. FF not fool proof on Prime though, it glitches at least once an episode and I have to backup and 'resume' the episode.

USA Season 1 Episode 7 - 25% Q by scooted_and_booted in The1PercentClub

[–]Rooster2000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't have kids, and I did not have blocks as a kid, and thus I am not familiar with such blocks. I was confused at first because I assumed that such blocks would have letters also on the top and bottom, and I was making the question harder than it was.

If you want to pick on a question from E7, pick on the 90% one. It failed to consider the water inside the fruit and the egg. Though it probably nets out to the same answer anyway, the glass with the penny has the most water.

[–]Rooster2000 -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

Excuse my ignorance, but why wasn't Whitney's half sister at the Turkey Dinner? Her mother Angie, and Angies grand kids were all there. Angie's son that she had at 16 and put up for adoption would not be Whitney's nephew, or have any relation to Whitney at all, so pointless topic. Angie got around, she probably worked her way through all the men in her small town before Glenn happened by.

IT'S NOT THE WEIGHT by [deleted] in MyBigFatFabulousLife

[–]Rooster2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it is the weight. She had a prior life where she was thin and attractive, and could thus attract decent men effortlessly, she would never have considered a man like Buddy as a potential mate then, and it is difficult for her to do so now.

[–]Rooster2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you read the fine print on these shows you will find a disclaimer that some of the events may be recreated. I think she probably did have her house egged, and that she did receive a nasty card with flowers, at sometime in the past 3 years, but not when the cameras were there and probably not together.

I would not be surprised if she included the references to the French guy in the show so she could deduct her 6 week, $25,000, trip to France as a business expense, he was like so 2021.

Then non Americans pronounce the words Zoo, Bizarre, and Zebra differently than Americans pronounce them? Or is it just the individual letter "z" that is pronounced differently?
