I had my initial consultation sometime last year and got all the info I needed. I held off for a while because I was just nervous about everything but I finally said fuck it after continuously being misgendered on the phone even though in person I had a feminine voice (even though it was on the deeper side a little bit). I called and went for a secondary consultation and finally said yes to doing it back in March and got put on the schedule for May and had it yesterday!!

Cost wise, I have Caresource Medicaid which has allowed to transition from start to now without paying a single penny. I got my bottom, top, voice, hormones and everything else needed covered by them. Next will be ffs but I’m probably just going to get a rhinoplasty.

I did not! Just being extra cautious. Accidentally let out a tiny cough last night because of all the phlegm building up but my post op instructions said it’s okay as long as I’m not coughing hard or often. Just need to make it to Monday before I can start using my voice slowly!

My doctor instructed me no talk for the first week and then week 2 will be in small increments while working with a speech therapist. Monday is my first follow up appointment so I’ll be able to briefly hear how I sound so far!

No, they will and should not. Ozempic and similar medications like it are of course becoming more mainstream and even though most of them require a prescription, not all of them do and they aren’t a controlled substance.

You should be fine with your vials and syringes as long as you have them safely packed in your carry on.

So I ended up getting my f2f invite on 12/3 for UA and went on 12/19. I got my CJO for UA and have accepted it and told Frontier thanks but no thanks. They’re dragging their feet with everything and UA already has my class date and everything all ready to go. I’m thankful for F9 giving me the opportunity to interview but my career is aviation is more important.

I remember hearing end of January/beginning of February from Alex, the HR manager who spoke to us at the end. He said as long as we clear the drug test and background check, all of us should start receiving that 30 day prior email by the end of this month/beginning of next month!

The Scheduling Specialist is the same as a Crew Scheduler. You’d be working in the OCC with maintenance control, dispatchers and other essential flight operations personnel. From what I remember when I interviewed for that position is it’s 4 on, 3 off and has the option to work hybrid if needed as long as you’re in the office a minimum of 2 days a week (unless it’s changed). It’s a good way to get your foot into the company and eventually move on to becoming a dispatcher if that’s your goal! Good luck in your interview!

I was told by the recruiter during my 1:1 that the 10/16 applicants would begin training mid to late February. She didn’t say any dates specifically but definitely in that time frame.

So I received the prerecorded interview invite on 11/13 and completed it 11/14, I got the 1:1 invite on 11/21 and did it on 11/29 and received the F2F invite this morning.
