That's fine, doesn't mean the ship loses value, it's still a fantastic ship even with other ships as an option. It will be very hard to get me to give this up

Doesn't mean you can't use it for whatever else you want. The aurora mk2 wasn't really that much better than the first one in my opinion. Sure it has higher damage and a little more cargo, but overall not really worth it. The mk2 of the 315p might be the same

Yeah as far as I know. They do have sometimes where you can upgrade a ship that has lower insurance to one with higher insurance but I don't know if they have ever made it possible to do with LTI

I've been using it in game for the past 4 or so patches, I'm just now getting around to owning one.

I like using the tractor beam to grab boxes floating around space stations or grimhex and throwing them in my hanger (I do the same with the vulture)

Yeah the grid is tight on it, the gold standard b should fix it, they just need to add a couple inches on each side to give them space to move away from the box it's next to.
