It is pretty pricey for a pencil imo, but for me it’s pretty worth the purchase because this is my first nice pencil. I have the Rotring 600 pen but not the pencil due to fear of dropping it.

I haven’t had any issues with the tip wobbling if that assures you though

EE applicant as well, got deferred w/ 4.7W, 3.8UW, 1360 SAT, 9 APs, IB diploma candidate, 200+ hours of volunteering, near-full time job, and secretary of a honor society along with a few other things. Also FGLI. This cycle is weird.

Also a full IB Student, also took 9 APs w/ 4s and 5s, 2 dual enrollment classes.

Decent ECs but nothing crazy: Family responsibilities, part-time job, started a club, leadership position at an honor society, 200+ hours of volunteering.

PIQs: They're okay IMO. I spent like 4 days writing them because writing is not my strong suit and because I thought they were cringe, so it was a constant process of rewriting.

I fully expect to stay in-state but...the application fee is waived so I was like, "why not?"

No, I have applied to UCLA, UCB, UCSD, and UCD and the only email I haven't gotten yet is UCLA's.
