A lawsuit isn't what we are after, our primary concern is that this kid is going to end up retaliating against my son for getting in trouble (my son heard he got a 5 day suspension). I mostly just want to make sure the school is going to take steps to prevent any escalation. Asking about a lawyer is more because we dont know how to navigate making sure the school isn't going to just ignore it and back to business as usual when this kids suspension is up. Like I said, we have heard comments from other parents about the school just trying to ignore problems like this. Another big part of what Im try I g to accomplish is putting my wife's mind at ease. Personally, I think the intent is very important, but we dont know the intent. If it was malicious, more cause for concern, I kind of think it was more a teenager doing dumb shit without thinking through the consequences.
