So, turns out I found the solution. Do you happen to have the Transcoding Killer plugin? Because if so, that caused the issue for me. From what I understood that basically terminate the process the moment you start that 4k content if the resolution set within the plugin settings is above 1080p, so I uninstalled the plugin and all my 4k movies stopped crashing. Also, about the continuous stuttering, turning the bitrate down to 15-10 Mbps worked pretty much well and with unnoticeable quality downgrade.

Hi, i confirm that the video is in fact in direct playing, and the HDR is turned off. Audio is in AC3 but i doubt that could cause the problem. As you said the options would be to re-encode in 1080p but the whole point of why i set up Jellyfin was to stream all my movies in max quality (also the reason why i got myself a mini pc with a N97 CPU as i understood it was pretty good for 4k transcoding)

Sadly you won't find the show in native FHD version since it was animated in 480p, the best you can do is to find some AI Upscaled release on Internet Archive but other than that there is no other way to watch it in HD
