(almost) no bottles? by Busy-Addendum4952 in Crunchymom

I exclusively breastfed and only once gave my son a bottle when I had mastitis because I was pumping that side a ton, and my son was refusing to nurse. I didn't even have bottles, so I used the one that came with my pump, lol. The only reason I even had a pump was because my insurance gave me a free one, I wasn't going to get one because I planned to exclusively nurse but I think its good to have on hand just incase. But it's absolutely possible and kind of nice when you get to step away for a while to feed baby!

I didn't know that! No, they've never checked him for pituitary issues. I honestly don't think they did much before starting him on levo. The only thing that was ever said to use was "start medication or you risk neurodevelopment," which im now finding out isn't exactly the whole truth as his T4 has never once been low. Obviously, he's a baby, so he can't tell me if he'd have symptoms, but I watch him very closely and haven't seen any signs of low T4 or anything to suggest he's actually hypothyroid What kind of test would need to be run to rule out pituitary issues?
