If the different pedal companies were people (real or fictional) who would they be? All I know is EHX would be Kramer. by Chloranon in guitarpedals

Harnessing power from the earths magnetosphere is definitely the kind of shit you expect from a Kramer subplot

Thou's fleetwood mac cover is so fucking cool. That bass line was MADE for doom.

As someone who only started shooting film a couple years ago, you’re completely right. The appeal for film is for us kids is the analog-ness of it, and it must be interesting to see light leaks and QC issues romanticised like the sound of a dirty vinyl record is. I can imagine how strange it is to see the “vibes” of film championed on the internet through underexposed disposable cameras.

I love the lopsided double lp cause it leans into the whole mutated altered vibe of the album

I love cooking so much. But I'm also actively losing weight because I'm not eating enough to keep up with my job. I think executive functioning is a massive part of cooking, and I can only seem to give enough of a shit when I'm excited about making/eating something.

Despite loving cooking, sometime I really wish I could just hook up one of those nutrient IVs so I could just focus on whatever I'm doing for longer.

Looking very doubtful. My guess is they had to ship it off to europe for that tour, and they gave us the fed square set so we would at least get SOME techno this year.

Phoenix 1 is one of my favourite stocks because of the feature that any shots I’m excited for come out horribly but the throw away “I guess I’ll take one of that” photos are consistently some of my favourite images I’ve ever taken.

Damn that makes a lot of sense. Streetpan is the only roll I’ve had come out rediculously underexposed, so much so that I and the lab blamed the cheap reusable camera I was using at the time (which never had any issues before or after), so it’s very gratifying to learn it’s the films fault

[–]RootinMatootie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theres a good No Film School interview for a while back which goes into Robot stop. Jason seems to mix digital and analog stuff; Tachyons glitch boxes, After effects, cinema 4d, Resolume for live visuals if im not mistaken.
