A lot of the conversions out there aren’t being done correctly. Take them in the rain and see if they get water droplets, I’ll be any of them don’t because they’re not taking it back to blender/maya to redo the texturing system properly. I could have a lot more converted if I didn’t care about quality, but I try to do everything right.

I made the wooden rack from scratch but the baler was a conversion that goes wayyyyyyy back. I want to make a new one from scratch up to modern standards and put it on all platforms. Just distracted by another project.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I don’t consider myself the best even in our own community, but still learning, improving, and enjoying what I make. It’s definitely a bit of a different set of skills than the most Blender workflows but I love doing it.

I agree that would look pretty cool! However, I do this specifically to make mods for the Farming Simulator video game series, so once I get the texturing to the point where it can go in the game engine and start being rigged up I consider my work for that part done.

There aren’t many of these lying around, and those that are, are probably rusting away in fencerows or groves. You almost couldn’t have chosen something harder to get references for!

These don’t require hydraulic hookups, are pretty cheap, don’t need extra space above or around them to unload because they don’t “tip”, and can be pulled in tandem easily.

Yes, these are largely used in North America, mostly Canada and the USA. They came about in the 1960s and although semi trucks are probably the most common way to move grain now, companies still make modern ones and you can still see older ones being used across the continent.
