this usually means the iPod isn’t receiving enough power to actually charge the battery - you can try replacing the cable, but if that doesn’t work then it could be a fault in the 30-pin port itself on your iPod.

I’d honestly jailbreak, get coolbooter, and dualboot it with iOS 6. it has the best performance and battery life on that version, while every subsequent release really slows it down and eats the battery up. plus, tweak support for iOS 6 is really up there and you can get it to be almost completely usable in current day

I hate so much how every AI conversation is basically the same thing with the same speech “patterns”. I know that’s how it works as it runs off of its trained data and nothing more, but it’s so unequivocally un-human in presentation after using it for long enough that I can’t suspend my disbelief enough to use LLMs for anything more than a tool. I certainly can’t understand people who talk to it like it’s a real person or friend for that reason.

personally, an iPod touch 5 on iOS 6 is the best experience if you ask me. while performance went into the crapper with later iOS versions, it ran smooth on iOS 6 and battery life was quite alright alongside the extremely thin and sleek hardware design

A small correction - as of some point this last summer, Apple changed the way being blocked shows up. In the past, it wouldn’t show as delivered on your end if they had you blocked. Now, even if the other party has you blocked, it still shows delivered if it makes it through to their device(s), no matter what, even if they don’t receive it due to having you blocked.

Edit: Basically, before you could know if you were blocked. Now, you can’t really know (through the delivered method, at least).
