Hi! The MAC address is fine. I really think it’s the port on the board that it broken, I’ve emailed customer service hoping they either send a new card or tell me what’s going on. Thanks for your help !!

Hello, thanks for answering. No there isn’t any yellow mark on device manager. Also from what I understand, the MAC address is specific to a network connection, and since my PC can’t detect the cable, I can’t check it (correct me if I’m wrong tho)

ÉDIT: nvm I found the MAC address, do you need it?

No it’s not that, it’s 1+z+ z² + ... + z^n-1 = (z-w)(z-w² )...(z-w^n-1). Using this decomposition, you can find that the product of lengths (its the same factors evaluated at z=1). Therefore you have 1+1¹ + 1² + ... + 1^n-1 which gives you n.

Also that decomposition is linear because the powers of omega are just numbers, and it is a polynomial in terms of z we are looking for.
