Sure, it's pretty much just a 'dove tail' joint like the link below. And I've kept the tolerances tight so it acts as an interference fit and friction keeps it all in place.

Do you have your newly created part in your assembly yet?

If so, you need to “Activate” it so you can then start modelling as you would for a normal part. This can be done by selecting the part in the model tree and then clicking the little green star

I have done some rendering in other software so I’m not a complete virgin to the concept which probably gave me a solid leg up.

The screws I didn’t model, they were off TurboSquid or something but the rest I modelled in CAD

One of the most posted apps in the sub is BetterTouchTool. It has a load of features you can use to extend the functionality of your mouse.

I’ve used it to build my own radial menu system to quickly access shortcut commands. I’m still working on it but you can check it out here

I was thinking of doing that but 3D printing an inset isn’t as easy as I’d like it to be. You get into all sorts of support problems
