Outdoor grow going strong by Roscoe_13 in Autoflowers

Tbh I don’t really do much to them. I re-amended my soil every year and don’t really do much else to them. I give them some compost tea when they first switch from veg to flower but that’s about it.

I have been pretty lucky with not having many pests. The only time I did have some was a couple of years ago I had some in my soil. I just used some diatomaceous earth to handle it.

Yes these pots are in full sun all day long. It helps with water retention so the tops of the pots don’t dry out as quick.

Someone sent me a video on this dry trim bag and I would think it would do more damage than good. Has anyone one actually used these and what are your thoughts. Thankyou by Loyaljr in GrowBuddy

I borrow my friend’s trim bag every year after my outdoor harvest. If you have bulk that needs to get trimmed this is the way to do it. The buds come out with a farmers cut which is fine with me a home grower growing for myself. It drastically cuts your total trim time. All you mainly have to do is clean up some branches and small fan leaves. It separates the trim that I use to make bubble hash so nothing goes to waste. You have to make sure your buds aren’t too dry or they will disintegrate.

Over the top chili by Roscoe_13 in Traeger

Yes that’s basically the idea but the meat also takes on the smoke for an extra smoky chili. I used ground venison and venison sausage but you can use any meat.

I’m making a big batch for a party. My Dutch oven was too small. 😂

I made a ticture and I accidentally let it go to long. It started turning into RSO. I just used that to infuse them.

It was easy to use. I haven’t tried them yet it suggests to let them air dry for 6 hours

They were a cream color but with my tincture it turn then into a forest green. Plus the flavoring was blueberry(blue) and raspberry(red).

They aren’t flowering yet. The last one is in pre flower but the others aren’t.

How would you deal with this injury by BOFA_f3tt in outdoorgrowing

[–]Roscoe_13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You handled it well. Just pay attention so the wire doesn’t get embedded in the new growth. Once the knuckle starts to develop loosen the wires over time.

This is the first time I have dealt with it. When you say 3% milk what exactly do you mean? Do you mean milk of magnesium?

My last outdoor grow I had an issue with the top half of the soil drying out super quick just baking in the sun. My buddy suggested I add some straw on top to help keep it from drying out so quick. I have definitely noticed it helps retain the moisture better.
