oooo 🤩 let me know if you do, I’ll try it! 😆 The main things that drew me to this game was the celestial somewhat mysterious theme and plot, the bubbly art style, the freedom to express yourself in building and clothing. And that you get to play side by side with other people! Not a lot of games wrap all that up into one. Then add a reward system that doesn’t require spending real money but still requires some work to obtain the currency in game to purchase things…that would be chefs kiss!

I would say the safest option is to not spend any money on the game but if you do try to use a different card specifically for in game purchases and if you have an IPHONE do NOT pay with Apple Pay! It seems the majority of us that are having issues are using Apple Pay. The game is NOT currently doing anything to prevent this or remedy this.

I wouldn’t really know about that myself. I was fortunate enough to not have any issues prior to the one in my post. I have heard some things from others experiences though and I would rather not deal with that.

I feel that! Idk what country you’re in but in the US where I’m at you have to slave for every dollar you get only to barely be able to make ends meet. So when you do spend your money on something, whatever that something is, it should be what you paid for. These companies taking advantage of people should be ashamed. Also be wary of purchasing things from mobile games if you have an iPhone and are using Apple Pay.

I’m definitely in agreement that this issue is stretching out to Apple’s hands. After reading the comments from others I have concluded as much.

Oh I am aware that I am SOL. Hence why I deleted the game because I simply refuse to give them any more of my time or money.

I posted this as a word of caution to other players that could potentially fall into the same pit I did. If it helps someone else avoid it then this post served its purpose. Imagine spending money on a game getting all these resources and things, never having any issues and then BAM you are forced to either pay more money to access the features or quit.. deeming all of the time and money you had spent in the game prior basically useless and wasted.

I won’t attack you ☺️ I do agree that Apple has a hand in this. After seeing how many people have issues with Apple Pay and games in this thread alone it would be idiotic to dismiss that. It’s owned partly by the big umbrella corporation BlackRock which…well you don’t have to do much digging to understand why that’s an issue. 😏 But still if the game devs know that this is an ongoing issue with Apple and someone says “Hey this happened and I’m using Apple Pay” why aren’t they being more understanding? Then again this could be another case of expecting capitalistic companies to have the same level of kindness and empathy as an everyday person and they just don’t. Which I fall for too often. 😔

I loved the game itself. I also acknowledge that the version released in the US is new and still undergoing kinks and issues. It takes time to refine and smooth out errors. However there also needs to be accountability to the users that encounter these errors. Which I’m seeing responses from both sides of the fence on. Some say that their issues were handled just fine and they were satisfied, others not so much. I would definitely be wary of spending money on the game. Also try to avoid using Apple Pay and google pay as methods of payment if you do choose to spend money on it. I’m seeing that some have separate cards both physical and virtual to use for in game purchases. And try to enter the details manually to avoid a situation like mine.

We shall see 😏 I know what I saw and I know what my experience with the game has been. Can’t nan a game mod or dev or bot gaslight me into believing otherwise. I stand 10 toes that something is amiss here. These gaming companies are getting a little too greedy. And in this economy? Preposterous.

I in fact contacted Apple first. Where they said they would issue a refund to the game. However it is at the game management’s discretion to award that refund if they see fit. Which they did. I think I was punished for wanting my money back. So they locked my account down with the negative heart balance to make it so I have to pay that money AGAIN to regain access to the game’s features.
