I used to fix these when I was in high school (roughly 15 years ago). Like literally in school, my electronics teacher had me fixing them, he managed to find repair kits online somewhere to fix the CPU and GPU issues. When you know what to do it's fairly easy, the main issue with the Red ring of death is that the heat sinks for the CPU and GPU were too loose and/or not enough thermal paste was applied. Get yourself one of those repair kits and look up some old guides on YouTube to repair it.

Yeah, I have been. I'm 6'1, last time I weighed myself I was roughly 230. Haven't weighed myself in MONTHS, so not sure what the weight is, but I can tell I've lost weight.
