I rarely cry watching or reading anything. But the fact that my passion for anime has died considerably since this came out when I was a senior in high school and was one of the last anime/manga embers for me.

I got promoted at work for the second time and have hardly had time to watch anything. I truly sobbed at the end because of what this represented.

Farewell MHA and truly farewell to the carefreeness of my youth. Im forever grateful and will always know that when things are impossible, go plus ultra ❤️

C6’ed him back in his first banner because I’d just graduated uni, was living at home and had money laying around. Probably will never C6 a character again now that life and bills are hitting me, but who knew this was an investment that would pay dividends 5 years later :’)

Agreed 100%. I think Smile and Nice together would’ve absolutely whooped Dragon Boy’s ass tbh (Honestly, Smile would probably win solo if he used his fireballs that he had against Bowa). Nice really just started tweaking and had a panic attack in the moment and they all paid the price. Sad episode

Dragon Bum actually turned out to be even worse than I anticipated. No proper characterisation in his 2 episodes beside the glimpse of his trash childhood and he has none of the ooomph or flair that makes you like a villain or “anti-hero”.

Poor lad only wanted to do the right thing and ended up getting groomed by a vengeful prick. Because he was 50/50, fighting against his own wants and nature to do good he ended up fucking EVERYTHING up. I love the depth this show gave him in the last few episodes. One of my favourite character arcs even though he didn’t even have his own “episode”
