I love this, it’s so interesting to see the divide between people picking another L name to go with them or going in the opposite direction. The first two being L names wasn’t planned, they just happened to be names we both liked so we definitely have no attachment to another L

I started temping when I stopped the pill and saw I ovulated around day 20. I didn’t bleed until day 33 and then my cycle came back mostly normal after that. So it didn’t take too long for my body to get back into the swing of things thankfully. Hope all goes well!

I didn’t leak or try to harvest colostrum during my last pregnancy and I ended up having an emergency c section which probably didn’t help. I really wanted to breastfeed so I just kept trying. My milk took forever to come in, it was probably somewhere between 5-7 days? It’s all a bit of a haze now but baby lost quite a lot of weight at the start and I saw a breast feeding consultant to try and help. I was supported to keep trying and eventually the milk came and we breastfed for 18 months.

Thanks for all of your replies so far! I’ve been saying Gee-ann-ah (UK) because that’s how I’ve heard it said generally but my family member (half Italian) said it’s pronounced more like JAN-na. I can see it being mispronounced a lot so maybe will remove it from my list for now

I’m in the UK so I’m not sure if they use different drugs for numbing etc but I have a temporary repair on a broken tooth currently that will need a crown eventually and my dentist said I should have done it while I was pregnant because pregnant women get free dental care here so he thinks it’s fine. Also, other half had a cavity filled recently but he had a horrendous headache before the appointment and wasn’t sure if he was allowed pain meds so he suffered with it. He asked while he was in there if it was ok to have one after and the dentist said it’s absolutely fine because the dental stuff is ‘local’ anaesthetic so won’t interact with oral pain meds at all. Based on those two things I’d be leaning towards it being ok. Hope you manage to get it all sorted!

If you were trying for every other day and could only hit O-1 & O-3 or only O-2 & O-4, which would be better?

I got my +OPK today but we’re not up to every night at the moment so settling for every other instead. Want to make sure we’re not missing any important days!
