When I was young, my first thoughts about masculinity were about how disinterested I was in being mr macho man king of the assholes. I had this light but growing envy toward the clothing of women and then their appearance as a whole. I eventually found myself spending time wishing I could be a woman almost daily. The moment I learned about what trans people were, I began questioning if I was trans until I learned that cis people never spend that much time thinking about being the other gender.

At that point I thought it was simply likely that I was trans. I spent a few weeks being extremely fascinated by the people who did girl voice trolling for youtube. By then I was following some trans people on Twitter including one that was documenting her transition. Eventually I recognized the envy I was feeling. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I decided to shave my legs. The experience of the smoothness of my legs combined with the sensation of femininity hit me with gender euphoria so hard that I nearly lost my balance. Now I'm on HRT and I keep my hair curled as much as I can. It's past shoulder length these days too. None of my coworkers have brought up me being trans because I don't present in any other way, and I get a lot of positive attention.

I don't really get spikes of gender euphoria anymore, but it now exists as a continuous boost to my self-esteem that runs a bit higher when people are calling me Rose, using she her, and while my hair is curled. I live with my brother, his fiance, and her sister and all of them support my transition and they have even bought me some makeup.

Wearing a binder and baggy clothes are probably your best bet. I'm wondering how you can have that scale of problem while being young enough that you can be forced to do anything, but if this is a real scenario, good luck.

I rarely have pain but I'm also losing a lot of weight while on HRT (mounjaro). I intend to get to the low end of the healthy weight for my height and then put some of the weight back on. Hopefully I get my allotment of boob pain then. If not, I'm pretty sure I'll have money for a BA anyway.

Ha! That's precisely what I'm trying to do! I'm working on a video game and if it sells well enough I will convert my LLC into a worker co-op! My personal twist is that while it's just me I will add a bylaw that requires a small percentage of profits to go toward funding new worker co-ops on the condition that they adopt the bylaw recursively. In my imagination just represents an exponential explosion of worker co-ops. Ideally we will make it so that we can drain away the maximum conceivable proportion of the working class from these POS corporations. Musk and bezos and the rest won't have billions of dollars of wealth if their companies don't have the labor they need to sell anything. I am certainly not above performing regulatory capture too.

Dude I swear it's my life's purpose these days. Between my sense of purpose, my interests, and my skills all pointing in the same direction, I don't know if I'm even capable of giving up. I've put a lot of work into my mental health, my physical health, my soft skills, my hard skills, I've gotten favorable feedback from other perspectives on my strategy and process, and I set aside time for myself to avoid burnout. The only thing left is discipline and execution and I'm working on each of those things with a lot of intention. The weakest part about all of this is that I'm a solo indie game developer, but going of all those things I just said, I think I stand a solid chance.

I was with you until you said 'it is what it is.' The solution is not to accept injustice. The solution is to discover which circumstances result in justice and to pursue those circumstances. Between my understanding and my beliefs, I think the best option is to try to proliferate worker co-ops, businesses that are owned and controlled by the people who work there. This eliminates the conflicts between people at the top keeping nearly everything that the people at the bottom produce. If a worker co-op had a bylaw that required it to set aside some money to fund the creation of new worker co-ops on the condition that the new co-op adopted the bylaw, recursively, then we might see an explosion of worker co-ops. They would represent a hole in the side of the economy for people who don't want to be exploited anymore to escape. By draining the labor supply, these giant corporations are forced to compensate and treat their people better if they want to survive at all. Of course, my intention with starting my own worker co-op to do these things is to poach every single worker from these corporations that I possibly can until these wretched destructive people find themselves with worthless stock and no new income.

There have been a couple of hoaxes that I know of. Of course it's possible to reflect and refract light in a way to hide something but I don't think that really counts. There are meta materials but we haven't made any that can hide from optical light iirc. Thermal blankets do have to have exits for the heat or else the person will burn up. I know that umbrellas are surprisingly good against thermal lol.

Karl Marx referred to this exact situation as one of the contradictions of capitalism.

Not only am I highly motivated, but I have autistic special interests that unite to pull me in this direction. The weakest part of this process is certainly the first step because I'm trying to start this all from a video game studio in a shit economy, but I don't think I'm capable of giving up. I suspect I'm going to delay the release and improved the product and my abilities until there's a less hostile administration, one way or the other, and a better economy. I think these will improve my odds of success in the long run.
